Welcome to your 15 minute mini class.
So excited you're here, friend. You'll only need a foam roller for this class. I recommend having a soft, friendly floor.
If I could control the environment you’re rolling in, I WOULD. But, you can have some things handy just in case your conditions aren’t ideal.

A hand towel can be useful if your roller is too firm. When you’re feeling antsy about the pressure, slide a folded up hand towel in between you and the foam roller.

A blanket can help your hips relax. When the floor feels hard in relationship to hip bones, ribs, etc., fold up a blanket and slide it under you for extra padding.

A small pillow or rolled up towel can support your neck in certain moments—you’ll know when you need it—if you do.
If you're extra prop-curious, check out my list of recommended rollers and balls. These are my favorite things to create the ideal bodywork vibes, but whatever you have at home will work!
+ Music is essential.

Know your limits
Some disclaimers, please read them:
If you have disc abnormalities, such as spinal fusions, herniated or bulging discs in your thoracic or cervical spine, please use caution and a SOFT foam roller for this class.
This class is safe for frozen shoulder.
If you have bursitis in the hip or shoulder joint or any other injury specific to the glenohumeral joint, please do not take this class until the injury has healed completely.
If you have EDS or another autoimmune condition, please use a SOFT foam roller for this class.
If you have any of the above mentioned, please consult with your healthcare provider to ask if massage and stretch therapy is appropriate for your soft tissues.
This class is presented for the purpose of teaching self-massage techniques using balls and foam rollers. This class is not a replacement for medical treatment. As long as no pre-existing injuries or soft tissue abnormalities are present, the safety of these techniques are guaranteed when they are performed exactly as taught.
